In the first quarter of 2025, the horror game category saw varied performance across the top 5 apps in Latin America, with data gathered from both iOS and Android platforms by Sensor Tower.

Granny from DVloper had a robust start with weekly downloads peaking at around 373K, gradually declining to approximately 224K by the end of March. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at over 1.5M and dipping to around 1.05M. Notably, the app generated a modest revenue peak of $3 in mid-February.

Fear Kid: House Escape by Sprigame experienced a significant surge in downloads, starting at approximately 68K and reaching over 329K by mid-March.
